NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course

Unlock Your Firearm’s True Accuracy—Safely & Skillfully

Every rifle and pistol has a "sweet spot"—a specific load that factory ammo simply cannot match. If you want to shrink your groups and truly understand the science of ballistics, you need to learn the art of the handload. The NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course is designed for absolute beginners who want to build the "perfect round" without compromising on safety.

Course Highlights:
  • Safety as the Standard: Master the "Golden Rules" of reloading. We teach you the double-check systems and pressure-sign diagnostics that ensure every round you build is as safe as it is accurate.
  • Data Mastery: Learn how to navigate reloading manuals and ballistic data to find the safest, most effective "recipe" for your specific firearm.
  • The Science of the Shot: Gain a deep understanding of internal ballistics and what exactly happens inside your chamber when the hammer drops.
  • Practical Precision: Get hands-on experience at the bench! You’ll master the step-by-step process of resizing, priming, charging, and seating under the watchful eye of a certified instructor.
Go home with total confidence.
This 8-hour intensive course provides all the equipment and components you need. You’ll leave with the official NRA Guide to Reloading and a Course Completion Certificate, ready to set up your own bench and start outshooting the competition. Course fee $200.00
